Role Overview
We are looking for a UI/UX Designer who can design modern, conversion-focused websites and also support ongoing website updates for clients across multiple CMS platforms.
This role is ideal for a designer who enjoys working end-to-end, from UI/UX design and layout decisions to implementing updates on live websites. You will be responsible for designing new pages and sections, improving user experience, and handling regular client-driven updates on CMS-based websites such as WordPress.
A strong UI/UX portfolio is mandatory for this role.
Responsibilities
- – Design website layouts, pages and sections with a strong focus on usability, clarity and visual consistency
- – Create and refine UI systems including spacing, typography, components and responsive layouts
- – Improve user experience on existing websites through layout optimisation and UX enhancements
- – Translate design concepts into live websites using CMS platforms such as WordPress, and Wix.
- – Handle ongoing client website updates including content changes, page edits and design refinements
- – Implement SEO updates such as meta titles, descriptions, on-page optimisations and basic technical checks
- – Ensure all websites are responsive, visually consistent and aligned with brand guidelines
- – Add new pages, sections or components without breaking existing layouts or functionality
- – Collaborate with internal teams to understand requirements and design intent
- – Review websites for UX issues, inconsistencies or performance-related design concerns and fix them proactively
Qualifications
- – Minimum 4 years of experience as a UI/UX Designer for websites
- – A strong UI/UX design portfolio showcasing website projects (mandatory)
- – Solid understanding of UX principles, user flows, layout structure and responsive design
- – Strong visual design skills with attention to detail in spacing, typography and hierarchy
- – Working knowledge of CMS platforms such as WordPress, and Wix.
- – Comfortable implementing designs directly on CMS-based websites
- – Hands-on experience with SEO updates and content optimisation
- – Experience maintaining live websites and handling regular client updates
- – Ability to adapt quickly to different CMS platforms and workflows
- – Comfortable working with Google Docs, Sheets and Drive
- – Clear communication skills and ability to work independently in a remote setup
